This large swivel entertainment stand is a great addition for any room in the house. The stand comes with two adjustable glass shelves for your Blue Ray, DVD player, cable box, etc. The rounded edges give the unit a hi tech look. When you turn to the back side of the unit there is hidden storage with two shelves on both sides for CD/DVD storage behind front panels. The swivel does come with a locking mechanism that stops the TV stand from going back too far. Constructed of composite board and highly durable PVC laminate. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. Assembly is required.

I bought the 4D Concepts stand for a 32" LCD TV, set-top cable box and Blue-Ray player. I found it remarkably easy to assemble - all parts needed were provided by the manufacturer including a hex wrench used for some screws. And I think at $107, it's a great buy!

I did make a significant modification to the product: I installed casters on the "upper base" rather building it as a swiveling stand. My application requires that I be able to move it over carpeting from time to time, and as a swiveling stand, I believe that's just not possible. So I bought 4 3 and 1/2" rubber casters with rectangular mounting plates and attached them to the bottom of that "upper base" instead of attaching the swivel rollers and base that came with the stand on which the upper assembly is meant to rotate. It looks and works just great! In fact, I called another vendor's "application expert" to ask if I could make it a rolling unit rather than a swiveling unit and they were reluctant to approve of any changes. But I did it anyway and am very pleased with the outcome.

I must say that I was not impressed with the packaging in which the unit shipped (it is delivered as parts). The carton arrived partly open. It is also VERY heavy for an old-timer like myself. But nothing was broken, and considering it included two glass shelves, I was fortunate to not have to replace anything.

So aside from the shipping, I think you'll enjoy this stand - either as designed or with the modification I made.
