The colors sweep through deep. The pin sharp lights shimmer and fade through different hues. Super easy to set up just pull out of the box and bend out the branches. No assembly of branches and no need for any other work. To use for next year put away with a large yard bag over it and next year it is even easier to set up. I replaced the halogen bulb with an LED bulb of the same voltage for longer life and less heat, made it even better. I am surprised these aren't available in regular stores. The only con was the packaging, not too good. It came scrunched into a small box with the base loose. One of the holly pieces was damaged and I had to fix it. The box is useless to store for next year, just throw away and use a large yard refuse bag instead.
