I bought this form my 150 gallon aquarium and it was a problem from the start. The first time I used it my bulb flashed and burnt out. The supplier sent me a new bulb and a week later I had it up and running. It did a pretty ok job. My tank never became as clear as my others and bulb only lasted 3 months. At $30-$40 a bulb I knew it was going to be expensive. Additionally finding the correct bulb to buy is a pain in the butt as there are muliple bulbs that look the same but have slightly different prongs on them. It doesnt come with instructions and you need to buy tubing for it which sucks as it was my first UV sterilizer I bought.

I tried to be patient but it was just one disapointment after another.

I ended up buying a fully sumbmersible UV sterilzer and I love it.
