I admit it ... I am a sucker for As Seen On TV products and late-night infomercials. I have bought many and been pleased with some and disappointed in others. My mom bought one of these and asked me to help her out steaming the tiles in her bathroom to prepare for a Christmas party. I was so amazed and impressed by the power and effectiveness that I ended up doing the entire bathroom and then moving on to her kitchen. It made the greyish grout in her marble kitchen floors and counter tops white. They really looked new. I fell absolutely in love with it. Also I am somewhat of a germaphobe and it was quite gratifying to my OCD to know that I was killing bacteria as I cleaned. Needless to say, Mom was pleased and grateful; So much so that she bought me my own Steamer. I have used it on so many things in my own house (including 2 Sharper Image Ionic Breeze machines that never seemed to stop hissing at me no matter how many times I cleaned it. It got them perfectly clean and working like they did the day I bought them. Not a peep out of them in 5 days). I really cannot say enough about how much I love this machine!!
