I purchased this for the wife and she loves it. The embroidery isn't cheap, and all the stitching is tough. The alternative down comforter is so comfy, and 300 Thread count cotton is perfect on our cold winter nights.

My only concern is the length. Don't let that picture fool you though. From the strip to the nearest edge (horizontal) the length is only an additional foot or so. Not the 2-3 feet pictured. The wife and I have a queen sized bed, and this comforter (as heavenly as it is) touches the top of the bed and goes over the bottom about 5 inches. It drapes off both sides about a foot and change. Maybe I have a funky queen sized bed. I simply don't think that's the case, I'm quite sure the picture is a twin or full sized bed.

All of that aside it's just big enough that we can share it. We both love it very much even though extra length all around would be much appreciated it. I can't imagine how short it might seem on a King bed of any sort.
