Best word to describe this storage unit is S-T-U-R-D-Y. This unit is relatively easy to assemble. The blue piping is not too pronounced so if you are color conscious as I am, you need not worry about it. The overall unit is white. The cover ties to the frame. Don't like that but it's not a big deal because there are zipper closures across the top and down the center so you can access your item yet keep them dust free. There are two selves; however, the unit should be higher in order for you to truly take advantage of them. I'm keeping my unit BUT the shelves would have been more useful it they were located on the sides. The hanging bar restricts placing the shelves above the bar. I would suggest that if you are seeking to maximize storage potential you choose a different unit. I purchased the unit to store my dressy attire. I'm petite and my long dresses are being impeded by the shelves at the bottom of the system. So my dresses wrinkle which means extra ironing. BOO. If I lower the shelf any more it would render the other shelf useless because I wouldn't be able to use for storing items. So when considering your options, I would consider purchasing a taller unit than this one. I know I have learned what to look for the next time in the market for another clothing storage unit.
