Misono Swedish Carbon Steel Gyutou 8.2" (21cm) - Right Review

This knife has a Hardness Rockwell C Scale 60 rating. The knife is not stainless because it is so hard and carbon steel. This is not for the casual user. You have to take care of this knife and clean the knife after cuts (to avoid rust; in 5-10min). Acids (lemons, ect.) are particularily harsh to carbon steel. Wipe with clean towel and rub with vegetable oil or Tsubaki knife oil after use.

Great purchase for me. Though I also have worse knives for other projects when I am not in full chef mode.

Just for fun I looked around the room and plugged in a random item or two, and this came up! I had no idea Amazon sold Lladr� porcelain.

Although we received this as a gift some years ago, it is still a current catalog item (Issue year 2000, Nao #02001350). You can order it direct, but the shipping would cost $22.

"My Little Bouquet" is a beautiful piece of art. The subject matter and delicate coloring make it a perfect wedding present. Sculpted by Marco Antonio Noguer�n.

What else is there to say? I am still flabbergasted this is on Amazon. Not just through a Marketplace seller, but "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com." I wonder: does it drop ship from Spain or did Amazon acquire some quantity of these for its warehouses?

This is essentially a number of slats held together by sackcloth loosely stapled onto each slat. The cloth seems to serve no purpose other than allowing the slats to roll up together. These slats are supposed to sit on the bed frame without being screwed down but the cloth is not going to stop movement and slipping. The slats are measured to within 1/4 inch, mine were cut correctly), but none the less they still slid a little and i think over time this will be a problem.

Also as the slats are attached to the cloth, all slats must be carried together,and they are heavy.... So I don't see the benefit of the cloth.

The wood was quite knotted and splintered in places (mind those hands...!)and is equivalent to the cheapest wood that you would get from Home Depot. The slats that I received had other quality issues such as holes drilled in certain places for which i was given a full refund. I then went down to Home Depot bought some wood (the next quality level up from the wood used in these slats), had it cut to order, bought a few screws and made my own. Overall cost from Home Depot was $41, and they took less than an hour to screw down.

I guess most people learned this lesson before now: Don't buy anything heavy on Amazon that you aren't sure you want to keep. My measurement was an eighth of an inch short -- the middle of the frame was wider than the ends -- and so the slats didn't work and couldn't be modified. I've bought dozens on things on Amazon.com; some companies pay for return shipping, some don't. This one doesn't. The thing weighs thirty-five pounds. FedEx charged me $28.44 to return it, the cheapest rate. The company now wrote (politely) to say there would also be a 25% restocking fee. Here's the punchline: I already bought another set of slats from The Furniture Cove. They're on their way. Pray for me.
