This is essentially a number of slats held together by sackcloth loosely stapled onto each slat. The cloth seems to serve no purpose other than allowing the slats to roll up together. These slats are supposed to sit on the bed frame without being screwed down but the cloth is not going to stop movement and slipping. The slats are measured to within 1/4 inch, mine were cut correctly), but none the less they still slid a little and i think over time this will be a problem.

Also as the slats are attached to the cloth, all slats must be carried together,and they are heavy.... So I don't see the benefit of the cloth.

The wood was quite knotted and splintered in places (mind those hands...!)and is equivalent to the cheapest wood that you would get from Home Depot. The slats that I received had other quality issues such as holes drilled in certain places for which i was given a full refund. I then went down to Home Depot bought some wood (the next quality level up from the wood used in these slats), had it cut to order, bought a few screws and made my own. Overall cost from Home Depot was $41, and they took less than an hour to screw down.
