I'm a first time mom, so I have no idea how a cradle set should fit the cradle. Our cradle is over 40 years old, and a 15 x 33 size. Apparently now days the more common size is 18 x 36. The company that made this set, Baby Doll, manufactured this cradle set in both sizes. If you look on some other sites or sellers, you have the option to order either size (for about $119). The size on here is not listed. I spent over an hour on the phone in two different coversations with Amazon to try and determine which size this was. No one could tell me. I took a chance and hoped it was the 15 x 33. AND I got it for $40!! Well two days later, Amazon had it listed for $114 which is more comparable to other sites and sellers. Not sure why the big jump, but maybe after all my calls they realized they had it listed to low?? Well it arrived, and when I opened it, the package is very generic. A clear plastic bag, and no dimensions on anything. I took it to the cradle, and the sheet seemed to fit OK (has a little slack), but the bumper was a little long, so I think it was an 18 x 36. The comforter is quite tiny, and not sure how it's supposed to fit the cradle or it's just for looks? It's kinda odd shaped for the cradle. Since I only paid $40, I am keeping it, and will possibly see if my mother can shorten the bumper to to fit the cradle. If I would have paid $114 for this set, it would have went back. It's cute, and pretty, but doesn't look like it's worth $114. I searched all over the Internet for cradle sets, and they do tend to be very expensive. The sheet with this was very thin too.
