First off, these are some great looking stools. They have an awesome retro 50s diner look to them. The height is perfect for both my daughter and me who had been practicing guitar sitting on the couch, which was too low and caused our guitars to sit up too high on our knees.The first of these stools that I assembled went together very easily, but on the second one, the legs were not quite wide enough. As a result, assembly became a two person job as I muscled the legs out to a point that my son could thread a bolt through the foot rest ring. Additionall, the seat swivel on the second one seemed a little wobbly and required some careful bolt tightening to ensure that it was level.
