Crestware Griddle Top Only for Portable Commercial Griddle Review

This griddle top is thick and holds its heat. It's an ok griddle, but at about 100 pounds, it is a bit heavy for some people. I find the lighter griddle noticabley easier to move. It also seems to be a bit much for the base. I've just finished repairing some broken welds on my base, and the welds on the griddle top aren't great. I think the much cheaper, and very similar Blackstone is easier to use, and it performs well. I use a 36" Blackstone griddle (cast-iron on the non-stainless base) to make bacon and eggs for 150, and onions, and potatoes, and so on, even with slightly less even heat. It seems to be at least as good, or better, as far as quality goes. I'm not sure if you can buy that top separately. This is a good, thick griddle top, though. I like mine... until I have to move pick it up and carry it.
