This sharpener is fantastic. IF you use it as directed, it will give your knives a perfectly sharp edge. Be prepared that it does take some metal off your knife, but we have found nothing that does the job better than this little tool. For best results, use a steel right after and in between sharpenings. The only drawback is that I have not found a way to order replacement blades for it, which the directions state you can do. As far as keeping your knives razor sharp, this is the item to have. They also make a great gift for anyone that cares about their knives.
