The pouf is a good product for the cost. HOWEVER… it smelled so bad I had to leave it in the garage for a week and then clean it with saddle soap and moisturize with leather honey. It still has a faint smell of goat, but it is resolving. If you buy this product be prepared to let it sit in the garage until the smell dissipates. I think the smell is the result of the goat leather curing process.

I stuffed the pouf with old curtains and a buckwheat pillow that my husband hates. It has a good weight and is comfortable to rest your feet or bottom on.
Kids love the pouf and I would buy it again (but would be prepared for the smell).
