There is nothing amazing about a cube bookcase. Everyone sells them, from Target to Walmart to Home Depot. This one was a bit pricier than the bricks and mortar counterparts, but I did like having it delivered to my door.

My praise pretty much ends there. The bookcase arrived unblemished and whole. I put it together in about 45 minutes (It was a blah day. If I tried harder, perhaps I could have been done in a half hour). Construction could have been better. Cam bolt holes were odd and sometimes filled with leftover sawdust chunks, and the plastic anchors for the bolts -- while designed to make the structure more stable, actually detracted from the precision needed to make the piece more solid.

I like that it is two-sided: finished on both the front and back. Still, I think I'd have bought one from a local retailer if I knew then what I know now.
