I gave 5 stars because these chairs are everything that was advertised and a fantastic price. They are easy to move around. They fold very tight and do not take much room for storage. Very strong. Holds a 200lb+ person comfortably for long periods of time. The seat itself is 14x15.5. They are sturdy. They seem to be made of a very thick plastic resin. They had no scratches, and arrived in perfect condition. The back rest hits me (5'10") across the back (don't know how to better describe) just above my bra strap area. Important because I use these for sewing, among other times. I sit for hours and sometimes I just need to lean back to stretch and the back rest is in a good area.
