I have been looking at Chilewich rugs for awhile now and decided to pull the trigger. Its an industrial type rug that is suited to keep mud and debris at bay. I'm using this rug at rear entry point to combat wear and tear on my hardwood floors. The colors on the website is truly represented and the texture feels good to my bare feet. The price point seems rather high but make no mistake, this is a durable high end rug. I like it so much that I decided to buy the birch runner for my front door location and entertaining the idea of a bathroom location for another.

I bought one of these Ionic Breeze Professional Series GP air cleaners several years ago. I used it for about six months with no complaints except the occasional hissing noise it made whether or not I cleaned it. When I read the Consumer Reports critical (scathing!) review I put it in a closet and forgot about it. For the past several months we've had unusual monsoon rains here in Atlanta, and I live under a tree canopy with dense shade, so my house and furniture began smelling like mildew & mold. I tried everything to get rid of it, fans, furnace, open windows on clear days, sprinkling baking soda around and vacuuming constantly--all to no effect. Then I remembered the Ionic Breeze, brought it out and fired it up. Within 15 minutes most of the mildew smell in the living room was gone. This is not my imagination or a "placebo effect." The bad smells are gone. It still makes a zzzzzst sound despite cleaning, but perhaps that is the result of all the moisture in the air, or some residual dust inside the unit. I intend to vacuum it's innards carefully in the next couple of days and hope that will eliminate the sound.

These are very impressive looking but please note the size. They are only a little over an inch tall. In my application this is a plus. I didn't want place card holders that overtook the table. The finish on them is very shiney and would look elegant on any table in my opinion.

Silky Shag Ivory Rug Rug Size: 3' x 5' Review

After moving from a home with carpet to a new home with a wood floor in the master bedroom we made a very extensive search to find the right rug. Almost no rugs are white because white stains too easily. Almost every rug we looked at in "cream" or "ivory" had a color tint half way between white and yellow which just would not work in master bedroom which is somewhere between kaki / beige with a slight hint of olive. We looked at several rugs in wool many of which were twice the price as we wanted something that was natural not synthetic nylon.

The Anji Mountain product only had a few reviews all of which were positive. It had a playful shag texture similar to a wool rug at Room & Board that we liked but thought was too yellow. Ordering a Rug for $700 without ever seeing or feeling it scared me but one of the other review mentioned that an E-mail to Anji Mountian customer service is all that was necessary to obtain a free swatch. I sent and E-mail and under a week later a two inch square confirmed the Anji Mountain was a neutral off white and not the warm almost yellow color we wanted to avoid. The bamboo - cotton fiber is soft. The rug looks and feels great and unlike wool it does not shed.

We have since bought a second Anji rug in 3x5 for the master bathroom. Our kids like the "worm like" shag. After a small cut resulted in a few drops of blood falling on the rug an immediate spot cleaning with Club Soda and Woolite cleaned it completely with no permanent stains. This is an excellent product at a reasonable price that I highly recommend.
