The sheet color is pretty - although much lighter than the image. Since they had a bit of an odor (probably the packaging or sizing ) I washed them - as per the mfg instructions - before putting them on the bed. Unfortunately the sheets are not as sturdy or soft as other 1000 thread count sheets I have purchased in the past. Even if they get softer over time, I noticed they are pilling on my husband's side of the bed.

Since I didn't pay a ton for these, I'm not really upset but I won't buy this brand or from this merchant again.
