Boss Button Tufted Executive Chair Review

I ordered this chair to replace my 12+ year old task chair, which was no longer comfortable and really needed replacing a long time ago. I love the oxblood color and tufted upholstery. I haven't owned the chair long enough to determine if the vinyl upholstery is sturdy enough to last very long, but it looks nice, and I'm crossing my fingers I will get a lot of use out of it.

The chair was very easy to assemble, with just a screwdriver. I'm a 108 pound female and somewhat short at 5'3", and I find the chair very comfortable to sit in. I like the curvature of the back, as it provides good lumbar support and fits the small of my back very well. I don't know if it is sturdy enough for a much heavier person, but it is certainly a good fit for me.

I call this my "General Hammond" chair, after the character in Stargate SG-1. I've been needing a more professional-looking chair to work from at home, now that I'm in graduate school and I'm "up-leveling" my work life. This is a beautiful, executive chair that coordinates nicely with the dark walnut writing desk I bought around the same time, also from Amazon:

I can now sit comfortably behind my desk, without facing a wall, and enjoy the sunshine from the window that used to be behind me when I had my old computer desk. I got tired of staring at a blank wall and untidy computer desk cubby holes. This is a much nicer arrangement, better feng shui all around.

I recommend this chair for a woman/small adult looking for an executive chair in a thrifty price range, that sits comfortably and is easy to assemble without assistance.
