SURE PAK COMPLETE MEALS WITH HEATER Review

I bought these to have around, you know, just in case. I placed a couple in each of the vehicles for emergency use, and have some at home.
Thinking I should try one, I opened up a "chili-macaroni" dinner. Inside I found the entree, a package of flat-bread type crackers, a packet of spiced apples (similar to pie-filling, although a little thinner), a packet of strawberry jam, a fig cookie, a lime drink mix, and a condiment package containing instant coffee, sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, a napkin, and a spoon.Also included is the heating packet, which I used to heat the entree. The heating packet did the job with the entree, in fact I had to wait a few minutes before the package was cool enough to handle. I also believe there was enough heat left to have warmed up the apples as well. I found all the food to be very good. Not dinner out on Saturday night mind you but they were all tasty. No nasty surprises at all.
I feel that these will be perfect to have around to supplement whatever food source you have available, should the times and circumstances demand it.

T is for Tiger 6-Piece Baby Crib Bedding Set Review

I just bought the T is for Tiger bedding set for my baby daughter (due in February) and I was so pleased with it that I just had to write a review. In short, it was the least expensive of all the bedding sets we were considering, but it was so cute that we couldn't resist. We also loved the idea of our daughter being surrounded by letters and words from birth. When we ultimately decided to get it, however, I worried that the workmanship would reflect the price. It doesn't! I was very pleasantly surprised when I took it all out to inspect this morning.

First of all, it's even cuter than the picture showed. But it also has a lot of nice touches that I didn't know about. The crib bumper ties on the top AND the bottom, just as it is supposed to for safety (so the baby doesn't get caught underneath and suffocate or become injured). I've seen much more expensive bumpers that tie only on the top, and I feared when I received this I'd have to add the ties to the bottom myself. The crib sheet has elastic all around the outside, not just on the corners - a safety feature that is recommended so that the sheets don't come undone and suffocate the baby, but something that many crib sheets lack. The lamp is adorable and also better than expected. The quilt is plush and very soft, not the stiff fabric I had expected - it's more like a thick blanket, really. It's rather small - kid-sized, not adult-sized - but that's to be expected, I think.

I also bought some other pieces to go with it, and was very pleased with those. The T is for Tiger mobile(sold separately) has a wind-up music box and the adorable plush animals suspended from it twirl when you turn the music box on, which was a treat since I thought it would just be stationary and silent. The hamper(also sold separately) has a mesh bag insert that is easy to slip on and off, and will make laundry day much easier; I was expecting to have to empty the entire hamper into a laundry basket each time or carry the whole thing to the washing machine, but instead all I have to do is pull the mesh bag out and carry that to the laundry room, leaving the hamper in place. So nice!

The one piece I wouldn't have gotten to go with the set is the matching blanket. It's cute, but considering that the quilt is so much nicer and softer than expected, the blanket is redundant. I'll keep it, though, because it would cost nearly as much to send it back as it did to buy it in the first place, and I'm sure I'll have no trouble finding a use for it.

I can't vouch for how it will hold up, but I think it will easily last us.

I ordered this when it was on a deep discount, so for the amount I paid I am satisfied with the product. The blanket is pretty small and thin, and the bumper is filled with polyester, which I did not see in the item description, but other than that I think it was definitely worth the amount I paid for it, although I would not have paid full price for this product. The colors are nice and while I am glad to have organic cotton for my soon to be daughter, I will have to buy another thicker blanket to use with this set for cooler months.
